About Me

I am a PhD student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), advised by Paris Smaragdis, working on AI for audio.

My research focuses on representation learning and generative modeling for audio, with a common theme of doing more in the latent-space. Recent papers tackle lightweight bottleneck adaptation (Re-Bottlenecking), latent upsampling/upmixing, and probing latent diffusion for signs of replication.
